BASECAMP | GAME DESIGN

Each striker is totally dependent on one’s belayer. The belayer acts as a coach, as the team’s brains and eyes. Striker and belayer are trying together to collect the pouches from the field faster than the opponent teams. Every time they drop the “shield” they are forced to reload back at their base.
Victory goes to whichever team collects most pouches, while neutralizing the opponents by making their shield drop.
Fast-paced, strategy, outdoors game, promoting cooperation and trust. Can be played by 2 to 6 pairs of players.

The game was presented at the first Athens Plaython games festival, which took place in September 2012.
Received the ‘Low Tech-High Fun’ award. 
More than 300 players aged 5 to 75 enjoyed Base Camp throughout the day.
