FACILITATIVE TEACHER TRAINING WITH PYE & ASHOKA AT EXPERIMENTAL HIGH-SCHOOL AG. ANARGYROI

46 teachers were trained at “Facilitative Teacher”, a two-day experiential learning workshop by Partners for Youth Empowerment, supported by Ashoka, and hosted at the Experimental High-school of Agioi Anargyroi. Themis Gkion was part of the team of 4  PYE trainers/facilitators.

The participating teachers built a second layer on the initial training workshop "Creative Classroom", organised last year.

-- They explored the teacher's role as facilitator for the learning process.

-- They understood the basic elements of powerful learning events.

-- They developed key facilitation skills, such as active listening, presence and strength-based communication.

-- They increased their self-awareness.
