Tailor-made learning experiences, to address targeted training and professional development needs for educational institutions, cultural organizations and businesses.
                                                
We develop the workshops according to the needs and preferences of the participating groups. We can adapt them to be hosted in any desired venue.
We design trails of engaging learning experiences, which spark creativity in problem solving.
We focus on exploring multiple angles to approach a challenge, and on borrowing know-how from unrelated disciplines to promote a more personal and fulfilling path, whether applied to learning or more broadly.
We share our ideas and inspirations. At the core of these experiences is the use of Learning-games, Play and their underlying principles, to explore, tinker, make and share. We deconstruct and repurpose games for learning, because they are governed by certain values, they imply choices, they promote behaviours and they teach.
We create a conducive environment for the individual to develop skills and competencies that are important in life now as well as in the future, also known as 21st century skills.

 

Examples of relevant projects:

NEURINOX Symposium in Torino. Curated and facilitated the learning experiences for the active participation of 43 students in the NEURINOX Symposium on biomedical research.

Reverse Engineering Challenge. A team-building workshop that highlighted challenges in collaboration through a simulation of a startup's life. The participants were 60 of the most promising European startups. The workshop was part of the 2nd FIWARE Startup Bootcamp, hosted at Innovathens.

Biosciences. Curated a career orientation event for biosciences at the Biomedical Research Foundation Academy of Athens, for 171 high-school students.

Digital creativity. Game design workshop, from idea generation to prototype testing. The guest lecture was part of the course “Interactive narratives”, for graphic designer students at Ravensbourne College, London.

Mission: water cycle. Co-development and co-production of an experiential learning adventure, an innovative, large-scale environmental awareness learning game, for Athens Water Supply and Sewerage Company EYDAP S.A..

Collaborative game. Development and facilitation of a collaboration game for the participants of Ethos Sustainability Forum.

Creativity & collaboration workshop for educators at Oppi Helsinki Learning Festival.

Hive Athens Pop-Up Event. Development, event production and educational content curation for Hive Athens Pop-Up Event, an innovative learning party for adolescents 13-18 years old, with the creative use of digital media, that encourage learning through exploring, creating and sharing. Exclussively funded by Stavros Niarchos Foundation as a Future Library project. Supported by Mozilla Foundation.

Basecamp. Game design and facilitation for Athens Plaython at Technopolis City of Athens.

TEDxAthens Simulcast@CGS Experience. Conference participant experience design, experiential workshop curation and learning game facilitation at TEDxAthens Simulcast at Costeas-Geitonas School, rendering the conference theme "Uncharted Waters" in Learning.
